I'm not sure what the secrecy is over where and when Artie Lange and company will be entertaining the troops with the USO (who is he, Prince Harry?), but after Nick Dipaolo on the Howard Stern Show today said that it was Afghanistan, while everyone else tried to cover and say that it was Iraq, I thought I'd do some investigation.
First stop was the USO site. They have a schedule which lists celebrities participating and even countries that they plan to visit, which makes the secrecy even stranger. Unfortunately, Artie is not listed.
Next stop was Nick DiPaolo's website, and there it was. His calendar clearly states: "USO Comedy Tour Afghanistan and Kazakhstan" scheduled for June 26 - June 30. Looks like he has a bit of a scheduling conflict, though, as his calendar also says that he'll be in Atlanta, GA at the same time that he's in Afghanistan and visiting Borat in Kazakhstan.
One thing is certain, though, Howard Stern is bound to be on vacation those two weeks. Sigh...

Jenny,
Do you have any info on the funeral services? I'd like to offer my condolences to his mother.
